The Nigeria Computer Society has announced its 2014 Information Technology competition, tagged ‘Olatunji Odegbami National IT Competition for Tertiary Institutions’.

The competition is billed to hold at the the Nigeria Computer Society Annual National Conference slated for July 23 – 25, 2014.

According to the Society, the competition is open to interested students in Nigerian universities, polytechnics/colleges of technology and colleges of education.

Interested students should complete the registration form on the Society’s website, after paying a N1000 registration fee while entry closes on May 15, the body said.

Test will be conducted online to get the best 10 students to be sponsored for the final competition in Enugu State, venue of the Nigeria Computer Society Annual National Conference.

Computer products, cash prizes and consolation prizes will be given to participating students and winners. Additional benefits for participants include job prospects and scholarship opportunities through interactions and recognition from various national and international organizations and personalities that will be attending the Conference, the Society says.
