The National Data Protection Commission (NDPC) recently led a delegation on a visit to Huawei Technologies in China to explore how the Chinese technology company addresses cyber threats, the federal data protection agency has said.
The visit, NPDC says, focused on exploring Huawei’s advanced cloud security infrastructure and the capabilities of the Chinese technology company to counter cyber threats.
According to NDPC, the delegation was given an extensive tour of the Huawei Cloud Planck Exhibition Hall. They were briefed on Huawei’s expansive developer network and robust cloud security systems, which reportedly block a staggering 450 billion threats annually. This demonstration underscored Huawei’s commitment to maintaining secure digital ecosystems globally, according to the technology company.
“The delegation gained insights into Huawei’s AI advancements and innovative cooling technologies, Huawei’s impact on global network services, and smart city development,” NDPC said in a statement.
NDPC said that the highlight of the tour was the visit to Huawei’s Enterprise Business Von Neumann Exhibition Hall, where the delegation witnessed firsthand Huawei’s commitment to security, innovation, and digital infrastructure transformation.
