Ngcareers, a jobs information website in Nigeria and Mobofree, a mobile social marketplace with around 2.5 million users in the country have formed an alliance to explore the country’s online job market stakes.

The companies are joining forces to bring their social networks and classifieds boards into one platform.

The partnership will further and enrich the experience of an average Mobofree user in Nigeria and them help discover career information that fits to their interests, the companies announced.

Under the plan, Mobofree users will search career opportunities on Ngcareers and get verified and most relevant career opportunities right on their mobile phones.

Neringa Kudarauskiene, CEO of MoboFree said that the jobs classifieds category is one of the most popular on the website of the company.

“Therefore such a partnership with Ngcareers was a natural step to enrich the user experience of MoboFree users in Nigeria and provide an easy avenue to help users to discover career information that suits their interest,” he said.

According to him, “as a result of this partnership users will be able to get very personalized information about the latest job openings based on their location, desired specialisation and other criteria without leaving the MoboFree environment.”

Paul Eze, Co_Founder of Ngcareers added that, “Ngcareers through partnership with MoboFree hopes to help Nigerians to discover relevant career opportunities in their current location. Currently MoboFree reports up to two million page views daily such traffic should make significant impact to Ngcareers job ads exposure and drive extra value to all employers using the Ngcareers platform.”

He said the partnership will be also helpful in building a review database of employers.
