Nigeria’s internet subscriber base reached over 163 million in February 2024, which signifies a rise over the preceding month.

Nigeria’s internet subscribers rose to 163, 279, 541 by February from 161, 977, 883 as of January, according to the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), the nation’s telecoms regulator.

The internet subscribers data for Nigeria is the statistical number of internet subscriptions across the country containing active subscribers for data (internet) services across available technologies of mobile GSM (162,808,826); VOIP (236,212); ISP (213,876) and fixed wired (20,6270).

Broadband connections, which are higher-speed internet service, rose from 42.53% in January to 43.08% across the country.
