The Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA) Academy will next week host the .ng Reseller Training for interested entrepreneurs.
According to NiRA, the entrepreneurship training billed to hold on January 29, 2016 is open to the first 50 registered participants.
NIRA says the “Bring Your Own Device” (BYOD) training programme would be facilitated by the academy faculty and some NiRA accredited registrars.
Commenting on the training, Sunday Folayan, President, NiRA, says that different registrars accredited by NIRA will provide details on their reseller platforms and affiliate/payment systems.
“You may wish to share the opportunity of becoming a domain name reseller with friends and associates who may not necessarily have the resources to set up and get accredited as a registrar”, according to Afolayan.
NIRA hopes that through this entrepreneurship programme, it can boost .ng brand growth by promoting “our Nigerian identity online and contribute immensely to the nation’s economic growth.”
