Jovago.com, Africa’s leading online hotel booking platform, has entered into partnership with the Nigerian government to boost the country’s tourism industry.
This partnership with the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC), which makes Jovago.com the official hotel partner, will make sure that Nigerians visiting the www.toursim.gov.ng, the official website of the nation’s tourism promotions agency, can find and book from over 4000 hotels across the country.
Nigeria already listed on Jovago.com helping the NTDC promote Nigeria more effectively and give valuable content for the official Nigerian tourism website, the agency said.
Sally Mbanefo, Director-General of NTDC, said that Jovago said will also provide NTDC with online marketing expertise required to help boost tourism in Nigeria, one of the main goals of the NTDC.
“We are very keen on this new partnership with Jovago.com. Not only is it targeted at promoting Nigeria’s thriving tourism sector and exhibiting the country’s potentials to Nigerians and the world at large, it also makes it easy for anyone visiting the official NTDC website to choose from the wide selection of hotels available on Jovago.com”, according to Mbanefo.
According to Marek Zmyslowski, Managing Director of Jovago.com, “Nigeria is a thriving tourist destination with a large number of tourist sites and attractions. Our aim is to make these places easily accessible to everyone in Nigeria by making it very convenient for people to find and book good hotels online.”
