The Oyo State Civil Service Commission says that applicants will be required to undergo a mandatory Computer-Based Tests (CBT) under its ongoing recruitment of 791 civil servants.
The CBT tests will be scheduled on various dates and at different venues for the recruitment of 791 officers into the civil service, according to the state government.
The Oyo State Government announced the recruitment on October 4 saying that the application portal opened from Monday, October 7 to Friday, October 11, 2024. Interested applicants were directed to log in to the state government job portal to qualify for recruitment into the civil service.
Only applicants who successfully logged into the job portal and submitted their applications in accordance with the Civil Service Commission advertisement will receive invitations for the CBT, Oyo Government announced. The tests are scheduled to take place from Monday, November 25 to Thursday, November 28, 2024.
Moreso, applicants were informed of the test venues, which will be held at two centers. Those who applied for the Education Officer cadre, Youth Development Officer/Assistant cadre, Environmental Health Officer and Technologist cadre, and Social Welfare Officer/Assistant cadres will take their tests at the Arch. Bamidele Samson CBT Centre, Opposite UCH, Ibadan, on Monday, November 25 and Tuesday, November 26, 2024.
While applicants for other cadres are required to report to the University of Ibadan Distance Learning CBT Centre, Ajibode, Ibadan, on Thursday, November 28, 2024.
According to the state government, applicants are strongly advised to bring printed copies of their application forms and invitation slips to the designated test venues as requirements while phones are strictly prohibited in the examination hall under any circumstances.
