Using PC keyboard shortcuts can greatly increase your productivity, reduce repetitive tasks and help keep you focused.

The shortcut is faster than moving your hands from the keyboard, highlighting with the mouse, choosing copy from the file menu, and then returning to the keyboard on your PC.

Let us start on the easy way to convert your text cases to your choice so that you wouldn’t have to start typing all over again whenever the need arises.

–To change text cases, simply highlight the texts you wish to change, press the Shift and F3 keys at once or press the Ctrl and Shift with A keys at the same time. Repeat it to go back to the original form. You can also click on change case (Aa) in the font bar which is in the Home tab and select your option. It’s as simple as that.

–To change the position/location of a text, simply apply the Copy and Paste function by pressing the Ctrl and C keys at the same time to copy the text after highlighting it, target your position of choice and then press the Ctrl and X keys at once to paste it.

–To highlight a block of text, position your cursor at the first or last letter of the texts you wish to highlight, press the Ctrl and Shift keys together with any of the arrow keys at the same time (press the upper arrow key if the cursor is at the end of the last letter and press the lower arrow key if the cursor is at the beginning of the first letter).

–To highlight a set of text (not necessarily a block) simply press the Shift with any of the arrow keys simultaneously (depending on the position of your cursor).

–To undo an action, simply press the Ctrl and Z keys at the same time and the item will return back to its original form. To redo the action, press the Ctrl and Y keys at the same time.

–To delete an item permanently without placing the item in the Recycle Bin, simply press the Shift and Delete keys at the same time.

– To quickly switch between windows, press the Alt and Tab keys at once. This enables you to conveniently work on more than one window at the same time.

–To print an item, simply press the Ctrl and P keys simultaneously, set it up to your choice and click OK.
