Xiaomi has unveiled the Xiaomi 15, its latest flagship smartphone featuring, a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a high-resolution 6.36-inch AMOLED display, and Leica-powered cameras.

The technology company, Xiaomi, unveiled the Xiaomi 15 at the recently-concluded MWC Barcelona 2025 in Spain.

What’s inside the Xiaomi 15?

Here is a closer look at the features of the new smartphone:

Xiaomi’s HyperAI suite brings AI writing, speech recognition, and real-time translation. The company says these features, combined with Circle to Search by Google, improve productivity and creativity.

The Xiaomi 15 features a Leica triple-camera system, including a 50MP Light Fusion 900 main sensor with an f/1.62 aperture, a 50MP Leica floating telephoto lens with 10cm macro capability, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. The 6.36-inch CrystalRes AMOLED display supports a 120Hz refresh rate with ultra-thin bezels and peaks at 3200 nits brightness. Xiaomi says the panel delivers vibrant colors and deep contrast.

The device houses a 5240mAh Xiaomi Surge Battery, supporting 90W wired and 50W wireless charging, for long-lasting performance with up to 25 hours of video playback.

Xiaomi says the camera system supports 8K video recording, night mode, and advanced portrait options.

The Xiaomi 15 also introduces an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for faster unlocking and an upgraded Xiaomi Surge T1S tuner for improved connectivity, including enhanced network recovery speeds in elevators and underground parking areas.

The Xiaomi 15 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, Xiaomi says it delivers a 45% boost in CPU multi-core performance and a 105% increase in AI processing power compared to its predecessor. Xiaomi says the Adreno GPU and Qualcomm AI engine enhance gaming, multitasking, and AI-driven tasks like image processing and voice recognitionAI-driven features such as AI Film, AI Image Enhancement, AI Reflection Removal, and AI Erase Pro provide users with enhanced editing and creative tools.
