How to pick up your National e-ID card

For Nigerians who have enrolled with the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) for the electronic national identity card, the government identity management agency says they can check if their card is ready and the location to pick it up.

According to NIMC, you can either wait for a text message from the agency or log on to the online card status portal of the Commission via https//touch.nimc.gov.ng.

You can also speak with the Commission’s customer care agents via 0700 2255 6462 or to customercare@nimc.gov.ng, NIMC said.

The agency assured those who have not been contacted to pick up their cards that it is making all efforts to hasten up the entire process of the eID Card production and issuance to those who have enrolled.
