Xiaomi has announced the Poco M7 Pro 5G, a mid-range smartphone that combines military-grade toughness, a 120Hz AMOLED screen, and advanced imaging features.

The Poco M7 Pro 5G features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution (2400×1080), a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 2100 nits. The display is certified for TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light, Flicker Free, and Circadian Friendly standards, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Xiaomi says the phone supports Wet Touch technology, allowing accurate screen input even with water, oil, or foam on the display.

The device, Xiaomi says, ships with a 5110mAh battery and supports 45W turbo charging. Users of the smartphone can expect over 60 hours of music playback and 19 hours on social media apps. According to Xiaomi, it can reach over 60% charge in 30 minutes.

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025-Ultra, a 6nm 5G processor with a CPU clock speed of up to 2.5GHz and an octa-core architecture. It comes in two memory configurations: 8GB or 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, with up to 24GB including Memory Extension 3.0, and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

POCO M7 Pro 5G delivers next-level 5G performance, Xiaomi says

“The POCO M7 Pro 5G embodies our commitment to delivering the next-level 5G performance and entertainment experience possible,” Angus Ng, Head of Product Marketing at POCO Global says. “Its stunning display, powerful Dimensity 7025-Ultra chipset, sleek design, and upgraded camera system, POCO M7 Pro 5G caters to the needs of both casual users and tech enthusiasts.”

The device, Xiaomi says, ships with a 5110mAh battery and supports 45W turbo charging. Users of the smartphone can expect over 60 hours of music playback and 19 hours on social media apps. According to Xiaomi, it can reach over 60% charge in 30 minutes. The battery is certified by TÜV SÜD to retain over 80% health after 1,800 charging cycles and includes smart charging features like Battery Health 4.0 and Smart Charging 1.0 to extend lifespan.

The rear camera setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with an f/1.5 aperture, Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS), and 2X optical-grade In-Sensor Zoom. The front camera is 20MP with automatic 0.8X wide-angle adjustment for group selfies. AI features like RAW Domain Ultra-Sense Night Mode, AI Sky, AI Erase, and AI Bokeh are also built in.

The Poco M7 Pro 5G has an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and 300% volume boost, and is designed with seamless bezels, rounded edges, and a rock-texture rear panel. It weighs 190g and is 75.7mm thick.

The M7 Pro 5G has a durable design with a 3D curved camera module, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and a frame that tapers for comfortable grip. It is available in three colour options—Green, Silver, and Purple.

The phone supports dual Dolby stereo speakers, 300% volume boost in speaker mode, and includes extras like an IR blaster, NFC, in-display fingerprint reader, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It ships with HyperOS 1.0 and integrates the Gemini AI app by Google for writing and productivity assistance.

The smartphone, announced in April 2025, is not yet officially available in Nigeria, its starting price is £199 in the UK. Converted to Nigerian naira, that is ₦425,017.23 at the official rate, excluding shipping, taxes, or retailer markups. There is no official sales or distribution information for Nigeria as of now.
