Port Harcourt, the largest city in Rivers State, is set to host Port Harcourt Tech Expo 2024, a three-day tech event in the South-South region of Nigeria that begins tomorrow.
Sponsored by Tech Nexus Ltd and the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Port Harcourt Tech Expo 2024 focuses on technology’s role in driving economic growth and social development.
As the fifth most populous city in the country, the Port Harcourt Tech Expo 2024 will bring together key stakeholders in the tech industry to inspire creativity, foster collaboration, and pave the way for a vibrant tech ecosystem in the Niger Delta, according to organisers.
The expo is scheduled to take place from April 24th to 26th at the Horlikins Event Place on the Eastern Bypass, starting at 10.00 am daily.
Speakers at the event include Dr. Maurice Dawson Jr., Director, Center for Cyber Security and Forensics Education at Illinois Institute of Technology, USA; Dr. Tombari Sibe, CEO, Digital Footprints Nig. Ltd; Gbolabo Awelewa, Chief Solutions Officer (CSO), Cybervent; Jimson Olufuye, Chair, Africa ICT Alliance; Ross Alabo George, CEO, Proxy Logics Limited; Chuks Okpaka, Azure Group Lead, Microsoft Africa, among others.
Attendees can expect activities such as keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, product demonstrations, and networking sessions, organisers said.
