Nigeria’s Second National Operator, Globacom says it has tied a deal with the Presidency to provide enterprise communications solutions to the nation’s influential political powerhouse.
Globacom says the addition of the Presidency to its growing lists of corporate customers using its enterprise solutions across the public and pricate sectors of the Nigerian economy.
The SNO claims it is “enjoying the trust of the business community in Nigeria as a provider of choice, as the indigenous telecom company has cornered the largest share of the country’s enterprise solutions market.”
Kamaldeen Shonibare, Globacom’s Head of Corporate Sales, says in a company statement that the technology company has recorded “an impressive number of Nigeria’s corporate organizations” that have opted for its voice and data services.
According to him, Globacom’s client list cut across key players in Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, Banking, Food and Beverage, Insurance and Religion, amongst others.
The list include the United Nations in the international agencies segment, Dangote Plc in Manufacturing, Chevron, Seplat, Halliburton Energy, Addax, NIPCO, Sterling Oil and Septa in the Oil and Gas sector and Sterling Bank, Stanbic IBTC and FCMB in the banking category, Globacom says. Others are Deeper Life Bible Church, Mansard Insurance as well as Nigeria Bottling Company (NBC) and 7-Up Bottling Company in the Food and Beverage sector.
Shonibare adds that, “Glo is also popular in the public sector, with the Presidency, Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), Ministries of Internal Affairs and Aviation, the Nigerian Police Force (NPF), the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), the Nigerian Army and the Nigerian Navy being some of the government establishments using Globacom’s enterprise solutions.”
Globacom says its wide network coverage and the recent upgrade and modernisation of its network “have given the company an advantage over other operators in terms of superior service delivery.”
