Rack Centre gets key data safety certification

Rack Centre, a Nigerian data centre company, says it has obtained a new Information Security Management System certification which is expected to boost data integrity, confidentiality and customer asset safety.

The new Information Security Management System certification, ISO/IEC 27001:2013, “is the most rigorous global standard for information security and confirms that an organisation has put in place best practices for information security processes”, the company says in a statement made available to Technology Times.

Rack Centre says it was certified in conjunction with Deloitte, a professional services network, after a rigorous auditing of the facility and entire business operations by the British Standards Institution (BSI), the Global Standards Body. Deloitte provided consulting, implementation and certification advisory to Rack Centre during the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 audit with BSI.
