The Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) has announced the opening of registration for the 2016 National Information Technology Whizkids Competition.
The competition is opened to students in private and public secondary schools in Nigeria, NCS says about the contest hoped to encourage excellence among secondary school students across Nigeria.
Interested secondary schools can complete the registration form online for two candidates after payment of the prescribed fee, according to NCS. Only students from SS1 to SS2 are eligible to participate.
The competition will hold in three stages of state competition at designated state centres, zonal competition at designated zonal centres and grand finale in FCT, Abuja.
According to NCS, the deadline for registration is May 15, 2016.
