The Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) says it is stepping up its digital transformation drive with the launch of a new Performance Management System (PMS) designed to enhance productivity and service delivery.
At the flag-off of a staff training programme on the system, Dr. Mohammed Bello Shehu, Chairman of RMAFC, underscores the importance of adopting digital tools in public institutions. Represented by Ismail Mohammed Agaka, Federal Commissioner representing Kwara State, Dr. Shehu says the digital PMS would replace the traditional annual performance evaluation report, streamlining processes and minimising errors.
He urges staff to embrace the reforms, cautioning: “If you do not shake into the system, the system will likely shake you out.” According to him, automation is not just about technology, but also about reshaping workplace culture and preparing for upcoming institutional reforms.

Highlighting RMAFC’s role in Nigeria’s fiscal architecture, Mr. Nwaeze Joseph Okechukwu, Secretary to the Commission, says the training would provide officers with practical exposure to digital workflows while equipping them with new competencies. He encourages staff to “learn, unlearn, and relearn,” stressing the importance of professionalism, proper dressing, and punctuality.
Mr. Emmanuel Ohiro, PMS Consultant from Reliefline Nigeria Limited, which is supporting the initiative, describes the workshop as timely. “This workshop is a good idea, and I urge you to take it seriously as it will improve your service delivery,” he adds.
The training, organised by RMAFC’s Administration and Human Resources Department in collaboration with Reliefline Nigeria Limited, commenced on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, and will run daily until Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
