Samsung Electronics has showed up a lineup of its latest consumer technology and business solutions that provide both consumers and businesses with the latest innovations in display technology.
Samsung held a business forum this week to boost the local industry’s knowledge of its cooling  business solutions available in the Nigerian market, which attracted diverse range of business owners.
The range includes the SD 850 monitor, Samsung Smart signage TV, the C460FW printer, which can print up to 30 pages per minute in black and white and four in colour.
“We’re excited to showcase our latest monitors with our partners and distributors here at the Samsung European Forum. Our new lineup meets the increasing demand from both consumers and businesses that are seeking the highest resolution, improved picture quality, unique designs and the best multimedia for entertainment”, Mathew Imodu, B2B Manager of the company’s Education Vertical said at the Business Forum in Lagos.

[blockquote]“NFC can be used to print photos, documents, e-mails and web content by tapping an NFC phone to the printer, while contacts can also be synced to ease faxing. The system uses a NFC to initiate a connection between a mobile device and the printer and prompt new users to download a Samsung mobile print app, and WiFi or WiFi Direct to transfer data.” [/blockquote]

”The Xpress C410W printer supports Near Field Communication  is a good example of how Samsung is pioneering the mobile printing solution and NFC printer market,”.
NFC can be used to print photos, documents, e-mails and web content by tapping an NFC phone to the printer, while contacts can also be synced to ease faxing. The system uses a NFC to initiate a connection between a mobile device and the printer and prompt new users to download a Samsung mobile print app, and WiFi or WiFi Direct to transfer data.
Also at the event the tech giant showcased its premium SD850 Business Monitor. The SD850 combines rich functionality with superior picture quality, all exquisitely designed to deliver a deeper viewing experience. The SD850 is designed with creative and financial industries in mind, as well as programmers.
According to Samsung, ” the SD850 redefines what premium means for enterprise-level monitors. We have designed the monitor to give users the most innovative display technology possible so they can produce the highest quality of work.”
The SD850 has 2560 x 1440 wide quad high-definition (WQHD) resolution, twice that of Full HD, with a 178° viewing angle. The monitor can display over one billion colours, incorporating 100 per cent of the sRGB color space. Its approximate 3.7 million pixels offer deep and rich image detail for a more realistic picture. Aimed at content creaters, programmers and those in financial services, the monitor can not only display picture-in-picture in 720p, but also picture-by-picture to display images from two separate sources, such as a laptop and a desktop PC.
Rotimi Agobla, Head Enterprise Display in his presentation noted that Samsung launched its new Smart Signage TV, an all-in-one digital signage solution designed to support the growth of Small and Medium Enterprises.
According to him, the solution combines the functionality of a television with built-in management software for creating personalised promotional content to increase sales and improve customer loyalty and retention.
As highly reliable commercial display solution, Samsung Smart Signage TV has been optimized for shop owners’ needs.
Unlike conventional TVs, businesses can divide the display screen into multiple sections and show a wide range of materials that can be utilized to show promotional banners and menus using videos, images, and texts.
The solution’s embedded content management system also makes it easy to create and display promotions from remote locations using a mobile device.
On his part, Charles Okoronkwo, B2B Manager of Samsung Electronic’s Enterprise Business said that, “we understand the unique challenges that small business owners face when it comes to selecting and implementing technology, and we built this product to address the market need for a cost-effective, easy-to-manage, professional-grade solution that is better suited for these environments.”
According to him, “with Samsung product we’re giving business owners  the power to enhance their customer communications and enable them to create more personalized content to drive conversations that extend long after a customer leaves the store to keep them coming back. The solution helps to turn on your business.”
