Want to monitor your baby’s health? Samsung Smart Baby Carrier kicks in

Samsung has just introduced an infant support carrier, Mr. Macaron, designed to monitor babies’ health and at the same time provide comfort for both the baby and the person carrying the baby.

The South Korean tech company says its new baby support system which is designed with a light ivory colour has a convertible hipseat system that can be adjusted with one hand. Also, raising the seat of the carrier can help to distribute the weight of the baby away from the shoulder and shared with the waist so that the mother will be more comfortable.

Mr. Macaron packs design and technology and the light ivory colour makes it go well with any outfit, Samsung says. Putting the small macaron-shaped sensor into the seat of the carrier will enable the carrier monitor if the baby needs a diaper change.

The small macaron shaped sensor in the seat of the carrier sends data to the pre-installed app in realtime and this data is processed and presented to the user so that he/she can keep track of the leaps and bounds the baby is making daily, Samsung says.

Also, the sensor will check the activities of the person carrying the baby and let him/her know how long he/she has been on his/her feet and need a breather. With the app, Samsung says it’s easy to keep a day to day record of the baby growing up without having to keep a pencil and notebook handy at all times.
