phone mastsLagos. July 21, 2013: Next Communications, Inc. a U.S. based provider of long distance voice, data, and HD video services for wired and wireless telecommunications carriers across the globe including Nigeria said it has sold its equity interest in Next Angel LLC to Angel Telecom Holdings AG of Baar, Switzerland.

The telecoms company said that following the “friendly transaction” Next Angel LLC will be renamed Angel Americas LLC.

The transaction will allow Next Communications to continue to focus on its international and domestic wholesale voice, data, and HD video services business, and to grow the businesses of its subsidiary NxtGn, Inc., and its sister companies Next CALA, Inc. and ATSI Comunicaciones, S.A. de C.V, according to a statement.

NxtGn, Inc. develops and supplies high-density, high-performance, scalable telecoms platforms and networks which allow NxtGn’s clients to deliver highest quality voice, data, and HD video services with dramatically reduced overhead expenses and exceptional profit margins.

Next CALA, Inc. develops and supplies reloadable, prepaid Next CALA Visa debit cards, which give Next CALA international long distance and HD video calling rewards every time a customer purchases or reloads a Next CALA card.

ATSI Comunicaciones, S.A. de C.V. is one of only seven full-service voice, data, and video carriers licensed to provide fixed and wireless telecoms services throughout Mexico.
