Slot, a Nigerian mobile device retail outlet will today commence sales of Blackberry PRIV, the first Android smartphone by Blackberry.

According to Canadian device maker, Blackberry PRIV will be available in Nigeria as from today at the sales outlets of Slot across Nigeria.

According to Blackberry, its new smartphone powered by the Android OS has all that is expected from an Android and it applications.

Blackberry PRIV comes with added security and privacy features to let you know you could be at risk and take action to improve your privacy.

Blackberry PRIV also features an exceptional QWERTY soft-touch multi function buttons (a choice of virtual keyboard or a physical keyboard for speed and accuracy) keyboard that suggests words and correct spellings. It also features a software that suggests applications that will make your phone work perfectly form the global Google PlayStore applications.

Blackberry PRIV is a full Higher Definition smartphone with 540 ppl and 2560 x 1440, the full height with the slideout keyboard is 184 millimetres while the standard height is 147mm and the bottom is 9.4 mm, while the curved top edge is 77.2 mm.

The Blackberry Android features a non-removable 3410 mAh battery (fast battery charging of up to 60% in 30 minutes), which is capable of making calls on phone for 24 hours in 3G-enabled mode; music and video playback can last for 11 hours. But on a normal mixed used situation, Blackberry PRIV can last you up to 30 hours.

Blackberry PRIV is Qi-enabled for wireless charging and is also NFC-enabled (Near Field Communication) and also lets you view any kind of document with its Document Viewer.

The micro storage drive comes 200 gigabytes with internal storage capacity of 35 gigabytes and 64Bit Hexacore Central Processing Unit with 2 terabyte of micro storage device system support and 3 gigabyte of Random Access Memory (RAM).

The camera capacity is 18 megapixel of Full High Definition back camera capable of taking a shot from 27 millimetre distance  with Geolocation tagging, face detection and Pureview technology.

Blackberry PRIV also loads effects and filters with exclusive photo editing tools, while the secondary camera (front camera) is 2 megapixels, which is ideal for selfies and video calls.
