Smile extends 4G LTE services to mobiles

Smile Communication of Nigeria says it has extended its 4G LTE services and voice calls to mobile broadband in Nigeria in partnership Lenovo Technologies.

[quote font=”georgia” font_size=”22″ font_style=”italic” align=”left” arrow=”yes”]The Smile Voice App that now allows customers make calls at 8 kobo per second to any network from within and outside Nigeria at the same rate, offers thousands of Nigerians clear voice and video calls to their loved ones to and from anywhere in the world.[/quote]The Internet service provider says it has extended its data, voice, video calls and SMS services to Lenovo’s Vibe C smartphone. The Lenovo smartphone which comes with a Smile 4G LTE SIM card, 2GB data bonus and 30 minutes, as well as 30 SMS on activation with the SmileVoice App as the Vibe C bundle is available across partner outlets across Nigeria, Smile Nigeria says.

Designed with a 5-inch HD diagonal display, 5-megapixel rear facing camera and a 2-megapixel front facing camera, the Lenovo Vibe C smartphone also comes with an on-board storage capacity of 8GB that can be expanded up to 32 GB using a microSD card, a Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor with Android 5.1, Lollipop operating system.

The Smile Voice App that now allows customers make calls at 8 kobo per second to any network from within and outside Nigeria at the same rate, offers thousands of Nigerians clear voice and video calls to their loved ones to and from anywhere in the world.

The partnership with Lenovo is designed to expand the reach of SmileVoice, mobile broadband services and enhance its benefits to a wider spectrum of the Nigerian market, Smile says. The company is specifically focused on the importance of partnerships of this nature to drive the penetration of mobile broadband in Nigeria and deliver on the end-to- end needs of the customer, Smile says.
