Imo State Government says it will partnering South Korea in the area of Science and technology to foster economic growth in the state.
Rochas Okorocha, Governor of Imo State, made this disclosure while receiving a team from the Republic of South Korea led by Noh Kyn-Duk, South Korean Ambassador to Nigeria
According to the Governor, South Korea sent the delegation to discuss modalities and areas it can partner Imo State to foster bilateral relations, realise the industrialisation of the state and development in areas such as education and cultural exchange.
The State Governor expressed optimism with South Korea’s presence in the area education, cultural exchange, industry, technology and mechanised farming, stressing that Imo state will broaden in its development and economic standard.
The South Korean ambassador responded by sharing the experience of Korea’s development and emphasised the importance of education as well as science and technology.
Present at the discussions were the South Korean Counselor Economy, Mr. Dae Sup Lee; Deputy Chief of Staff to the Government of Imo State on Liaison and External Relations, Mrs Mm Nzeribe who facilitated the visit via her “Imo State is Viable to Investment” campaign.
