“D Link’s IP surveillance cameras, recorders, and servers are ideal for the Nigerian situation – indoor or outdoor” Ediale says.

Ediale dropped the hint following a new award for the Nigerian firm, Technology Distributions (TD) Limited has emerged the best distributor of D-Link products in West Africa.

This was made known recently at Disti Meet 2013 in Phutek, Thailand at an industry Award night that brought together the best in ICT marketing from over 100 countries where the D-Link products are offered.

D-Link, the leading networking company in the small to medium business (SMB) segment worldwide named TD the D-Link Best Distributor 2012 (SMB & Enterprise).

Presenting the Award, Gary Yang, Executive Vice-President, D-Link International said that Technology Distribution (TD) had in the last two years restructured its D-Link business with a new Product Manager focusing on retail, stockists and the SMB/Mid-Enterprise business particularly in security, routing, wireless and IP surveillance.

“This has led to immediate growth with excellent prospects of sustainability. The Award is in recognition of TD’s impressive distribution channels across the West African region and its turnover contributions from Sub Saharan Africa. TD’s has demonstrated innovativeness in the face of keen competition and harsh economic conditions arising from a stagnating global economy”, he adds.

Modupe Adesiyun, who received the Award on behalf of TD commended D Link for instituting the highly coveted Awards that would stir healthy competition among global vendors.

“This Award would help TD to consolidate its dominance of the ICT equipment market in the West African region” she says.

The Best Distributor 2012 Award is an “endorsement of the growing diversification in the range of products on the stable of TD” adding that the firm is making remarkable progress in its quest to be a one stop shop for the best quality ICT products in the world”, the company says.

She therefore urged resellers to take advantage of the growing presence of D Link assuring them  of the traditional TD support as they offer D Link’s networking and security solutions to churches, schools, shopping malls, governments and the corporate sector.
