Security solutions manufacturer TDsi will be showing its latest integrated solutions, including the new EXgarde PRO 4.2 security management software, at Securex West Africa to be held this month in Nigeria.

The security technology systems maker will be joining its local partner Rapid Vigil Security Company and together they will be discussing real-world applications of security solutions and services, according to a company statement.

TDsi says the partnership continues to provide it with a greater sales reach in the West African market, whilst giving Rapid Vigil Security Company full access to the company’s high quality products and support services.

“Western Africa continues to offer an excellent market for TDSi’s security products and services. With a rapidly growing economy Nigeria is a great regional success story and is the perfect place for us to team up with partner Rapid Vigil again to highlight the excellent combined security solutions and services that we offer. Rapid Vigil has an unrivalled knowledge of the local market and, combined with excellent value-added services, has been strongly promoting TDSi’s products and services for a number of years. We are delighted to be meeting many of our clients and potential clients in person to discuss their security needs along with Rapid Vigil”, TDSi Export Director, Alan Hardy says.

According to Chukwuemeka Nwenyi, Managing Director and CEO of Rapid Vigil Security Company, “We have had another highly successful year partnering with TDSi and our relationship has grown even stronger, with further access into the Nigerian security market. Securex West Africa is the ideal platform to present our combined offering to all sectors of the security market in the region, including cyber-security, commercial and homeland security, and fire and safety security. We are expecting to welcome a broad cross-section of visitors to our stand, reflecting the increasingly integrated nature of the security industry as a whole.”

Securex West Africa is an annual event which in 2013 attracted 1700 visitors including those representing government, commercial users and installers. Designed to showcase the latest solutions that meet the challenging security landscape and emerging threats in West Africa, the event also encourages exhibitors and visitors to share common security strategies and frameworks.

Designed to cater for the latest security needs, TDSi’s EXgarde PRO 4.2 software solution includes full integration with ASSA ABLOY’S AperioTM wireless locking technology. TDSi’s EXgarde PRO software brings together many elements of physical security in a centralized security portal, enabling the operator to monitor and control physical access whilst incorporating CCTV feeds and emergency alarm triggers. Additionally EXgarde 4.2 also allows an organization to synchronize its employee database and IT security protocols via integration with Microsoft Active Directory.

By combining these physical security systems, TDSi’s software platform can ensure a fully integrated approach and complete visibility over the assets of the whole business, the company says.
