Tech+, Nigeria’s first expo showcasing future of technology holds July

Plans have reached advanced stages to host Tech+, Nigeria’s pioneering Technology Conferences and Exhibition showcasing the future of technology in Lagos, Nigeria’s bustling commercial capital.
Tech+, planned with the theme, “Leadership in Digital Technology” holds July 24-25, 2015, at the prestigious Eko Hotels and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos. The ground-breaking event is powered by MTN Nigeria Communications Ltd.
Connect Marketing Services, Nigeria’s leading Marketing Services and Consumer Engagement Company , which is organising Tech+ alongside a rich partnership ecosystem in the technology sector, announced the game-changing event in Lagos.
Tech+ will be a gathering of all things technology and it is positioned to enable all participants appreciate and experience the transformative power of technology.

Nigeria posted record 135% growth in smartphone shipments in 2014 as falling prices price threaten feature phones, according to a new report by IDC.

Commenting on Tech+, Olubayo Adekambi, Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer, MTN described the two-day Technology and Exhibition Conference as an innovative annual platform for consumers and businesses to maximize their Technology experience.
He explained that as a leader in the emerging digital ecosystem, MTN is proud to show how the new digital economy is evolving and how consumers and businesses can take advantage of the evolution.
“Tech+ is a landmark event that seeks to offer the platforms for engagement and new experience in the world of technology. It is unique because of the range of benefits it holds for all, including investors, exhibitors and individuals who participate in it. Technology has come of age, but sadly, not many amongst us understand what they can actually achieve for themselves or what windows of opportunities they can maximize using Technology,” he said
According to Richard Iweanoge, GM Consumer Marketing, MTN, “Tech+ does not only ‘tell’ it also ‘shows.’”
According to the organizers, Tech+ has been developed to address key touch points that will afford participants the opportunities to explore new frontiers in the deployment of technology towards achieving both personal and corporate goals.
Attendees at Tech+ will include technology consumers and businesses,manufacturers of products, service providers across diverse segments of the information and communication technology (ICT) industry and ancillary fields of human endeavor, hardware designers, manufacturers, innovators and policy makers, among others.
Tech+ Conference and Exhibitions will feature exhibitions, gaming sessions, the digital school, programming, plenary and break-out sessions as well as panel discussions to be led by high profile speakers drawn from local and global brands. Some of the speakers include Jim McKelvey (co-founder of Square), WaelFakharany (Google X Middle East and Africa), Nicolas Martin, CEO, Jumia Africa, etc.
The organisers have also called for interested exhibitors to take the advantage provided by Tech+ to leverage the platform for maximum exposure and visibility for their brands to connect with the largest gathering of consumers under one roof.
The exhibition will cover products and services in various areas such as healthcare and wellbeing, automobile, entertainment, education, computing, Smart Homes, Wearables, Security, gaming, 3D Printing, and displays, among others.
Tech+ Conference & Expo is a place where new technology comes to life, new technology comes to life, new products are launched and innovations converge. A platform for knowledge sharing, networking and a market place for the consumer & business.
