Tecno says it has launched newer version of its Boom series in Lagos under the Chinese phone maker’s expansion plans in Nigeria’s mobile device market.
The new Boom J8 is the music flagship device of Tecno with excellent music performance. The Boom Player can provide abundant music resources to you, and the Boom Headphone brings users a comfortable enjoyment of music.
The mid-range smartphone comes with a unique user interface of the Hirschmann Operation System (HiOS) that offers increased security through standard authentication mechanisms and user-definable roles, Tecno says.
Attai Oguche, Tecno Marketing and PR Lead, says improved app management options and the optimised audio features place the new Tecno Boom J8 at the core of mobile customers’ demands.
According to him, “the HiOS operating system which gives the BOOM J8 more room for intuitive functions and the phone’s highly optimised software features has earned it impressive ratings from mobile tech analysts who partnered Tecno in reviewing the smart phone before its launch.”
In his comment Jesse Oguntimehin, Tecno digital marketing lead said “Tecno Boom J8 rewards music lovers with custom Boom headphones; each box of the smartphone comes with a free headphone but it is the Boom Max app, a pre-installed custom music equalization feature that will totally hook mobile users who listen to music in detail.”
Tecno Boom J8 is an upgrade of Boom J5 and Boom J7 which was launched last year. It comes with an elegant design featuring a 5.5 inch screen display and a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. It also comes with a 13MP primary camera with flash and 5.0MP front camera with flash as well.
The Boom J8 has an internal memory of 16GB ROM and 2GB RAM which is expandable up to 128 GB via Micro SD. The battery capacity is 3000mAh and the operating system is HiOS which is based on Andriod 5.1.
The HiOS comes with a lot of themes which makes the Boom J8 catch anybody’s attention just at a glance.
The phone is currently available in Nigeria in both online and offline retail shops. It sells between N44, 000 to N48,000.
