Lagos February 9, 2013: TicketBiscuit LLC, a U.S.-based provider of ticketing software and technology has signed an exclusive agreement with Timely Ticketing, a Ghanaian company, to provide ticketing software and services in the Nigerian and Ghanaian market.

Under the agreement, TicketBiscuit is licensing its software and making enhancements to better serve the Ghanaian and Nigerian live entertainment markets, and providing ongoing support for the new company, according to a statement.

Jeff Gale, CEO, TicketBiscuit says the Timely Ticketing relationship represents continued international growth for his company.

“Three years ago, we entered a totally new market to us in South Africa through our relationship with Tixsa. Since then, they’ve grown to be one of the top ticketing providers in that country. Now, we’re fortunate to have a similar partner with Timely Ticketing in Ghana. We’ve been extremely impressed by Mr. Akinsola and the Timely Ticketing team, and we’re proud to enter the Ghana and Nigeria markets as their technology partner.”

TicketBiscuit is all of those things and more; of all the companies we looked at, they stood alone.”

TicketBiscuit, founded in 2001, provides proprietary software that powers the online ticket sales of over 500 clients in 1500 venues across the United States and Canada. TicketBiscuit’s complete suite of services and solutions empowers clients to sell tickets online through their own websites, via mobile optimised websites, via call centre, and via the TicketBiscuit web-based box office interface.

Timely Ticketing is a wholly owned subsidiary of Timely Ventures Limited, an emerging and diversified business with offices in Accra, Ghana and Lagos, Nigeria. The company provides integrated event ticketing and associated ticketing solutions to ensure that customers have the very best experience when purchasing and gaining access to events.
