Online travel agency, Travelstart Nigeria says it has linked Interswitch payment gateway for travelers to book and pay for their flight tickets through its website.
The online travel agency says its new payment gateway was developed through strategic partnership with Interswitch, a payment processing provider, to make flight booking faster and easier for customers with seamless payment methods for affordable flights.
With the new payment gateway, Interswitch allows Travelstart to access all major banks in Nigeria on its website, as well as over 17,000 ATMs and Nigeria’s most used payment cards that include Verve, Visa and Mastercard, Travelstart says.
The online travel agency says it is enabling multiple channels of making safe and secure payments which in turn brings greater convenience to customers.
OlufemiFakeye, Travelstart Nigeria’s Operations Manager says that “It’s the simplest and fastest way our customers can make payments for their bookings at no additional cost, this also gives them an opportunity to avoid booking cancellation and fare increments in the face of the fluctuating exchange rate.”
