United Bank for Africa(UBA) has announced that PayPal, the newest entrant global payment provider into the Nigerian market is now compatible with its debit and prepaid cards.
With the introduction of Paypal service, it will not only make shopping online flexible but it will avail UBA customers alternative payment via mobile phones or personal computers, the bank said.
Describing how UBA Cardholders can use their cards to make payments through Paypal, Yinka Adedeji, Head of e-Banking Division at UBA explained that all the customer has to do is to visit the PayPal website, select country of location, fill the application form that will be displayed and submit the form online.
“The acceptance of UBA Cards on PayPal will provide more convenience for those planning their summer shopping”, he said.
According to him, “UBA cards are accepted in over 200 countries and on millions of POS terminals and ATMs around the world. This implies that UBA cardholders are never stranded in any part of the world where they decide to shop or do business.”
