Lagos. April 15, 2013: Chris Uwaje, the President of the Institute of Software Professionals of Nigeria (ISPON); Charles Oluwole Akinyokun, a Professor of Computer Science at the Federal University of Technology Akure and Ashiru Daura, the Director of Software Planning & Technical Research of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), have been tipped as some of the top contenders in the race to head the nation’s IT Policy implementing agency, NITDA.
Technology Times checks reveal that the race has become heated in recent times as Cleopas Angaye; outgoing Director-General of NITDA will wrap up his second term as head of the agency by the middle of this year.
Editor’s Note: Please check back soon for updates on this developing story
I would prefer Daura, Uwaje for the office not Akinyokun who would run NITDA like a political office.
Haba Technology time he is Dr. Ashiru Daura as you praises others with professorhip and presidenship you have to finish with the doctorship
