Apple officially announced iOS 8 on Monday at its annual  Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC ) in San Francisco, USA.

The new software builds on iOS 7’s extensive revamp from last year with improved integration between Apple devices, both mobile and desktop, a major focal point of  iOS 8.

Apple introduced several new features that are designed to connect the iPhone, iPad and Mac.
