ZTE has launched the world’s first converged intelligent videoconferencing solution at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE), Amsterdam, Netherlands.
The new innovation is expected to transform existing videoconferencing terminals from ‘functional machines’ into ‘smart machines’, the telecoms equipment suppliers says.
According to the Chinese company, the converged intelligent videoconferencing solution uses an open video communication interface, provides a universal platform, and supports convergence with third-party applications, quickly meeting users’ different requirements.
The system provides pre-installed common conferencing software to facilitate usage, and supports plug and play USB flash disks and portable hard disks for easy sharing of electronic documents. With integrated functions such as e-whiteboard, data conferencing, and multi-touch, the system supports simple and intuitive operations. It supports seamless convergence with third-party applications. The system can interact with instant communication software such as Skype, GTalk, Sametime, Lync, and WeChat on the intelligent platform without any connecting gateway.
Yang Long, ZTE Videoconferencing Product Manager says “we believe that ZTE’s videoconferencing solution can provide tangible benefits in any market,” said Yang Long, ZTE Videoconferencing Product Manager.
“ISE is the largest global professional video communication tradeshow. Along with our partners, ZTE is taking advantage of this platform to present our advanced technologies and professional solutions to the industry, and to help more European enterprises and industry customers benefit from the development of information and communication technologies.”
